If you wanted, you could stay
Forgetting all of those ties
That hold you back

If you wanted, you could stay
Lose the tensions of the past
Start over fresh

If you wanted, you could stay
It's an open invite
One you have heard many times

If you wanted, you could stay
Not yet you say
Timing is not right

If you wanted, you could stay
Think it over carefully
The invitation may have an expiration date!
