Return

laying awake
as I always do
the moon shining
a silver, frosty glow
washing my room
with the lunar light
not a comfort
as it should be
instead, it makes me
miss you more, when
under the same glow
passion stirred and peaked
and the loneliness stays
here in this room
waiting for your return
