when the smoke has cleared
when the page is written
when all has been revealed
when the hurt and anger
when the tears are dried
when the sun is shining
when the pain has died
when the past is filed away
when fond memories return
when all that’s felt is loving
when I grow from what I learned
when happiness is realized
when life continues on
when the stars are glowing
when the song is sung
