I look forward to all things new
welcoming in a change
and that change will be you
we don't need to go out
fight traffic and the crowd
don't need to go dancing
where the music's way too loud
just you and I together
grill out and have some wine
your arms around me at midnight
as the folks sing Auld Lang Syne
this New Year will be different
