winter

crimson curled leaves
buried under white snow
heavy clouds hang overhead
a freezing wind that blows

inside the fire crackles
a cozy  winter scene
lover's laying close
the picture of serenity

nothing like a winter's night
as I lay in your arms
listen to the wind howling
as you keep me safe and warm

Very Intimate Poem.. It makes you want to get out the red blanket and be with your sweety.. Well done.
