different sounds

so we sit
cup in hand
while the cd drones
oblivious to each other
our feet tap in time
still that in common

always like this
always we two
different sounds
same heart
different worlds
same art

the table cleared
coffee steams 
the lyrics fade
the only music left...
my fingers
