Manipulating justice
Breaking all the rules
Flouting and nefarious
Oblivious and a ruse
Never held accountable
Never had to pay
Never held as liable
Never to this day
Everything came easy
That’s till I met you
Changing how the game is played
Playing me the fool
All the things that I did wrong
Has come back now tenfold
I got exactly what I reaped
It’s on my heart’s threshold
I hope I learned a lesson
It’s to soon to say
My heart is still recovering
From when I was betrayed
