a stormy sea?
would you ride the desert
an oasis to find?
would you answer
what stays unresolved
in my mind?
would you listen with heart
to questions I ask?
would you break the hunger
with sweet repast?
would you sing me a song
others haven't heard?
or hum me a tune
forgetting the words?
